Zurich-based FBO granted second stage IS-BAH

Based out of Zurich Airport in Switzerland, Cat Air Service, business aviation Fixed Base Operator (FBO) has been granted the second stage IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling) from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).

IS-BAH certification relies on the safety management for Business Aircraft Operators (IS-BAO) and certification establishes criteria for ground handling processes to ensure aircraft and passengers comply with ground safety and security standards.

Commenting on the good news, general manager, Roger Büchner commented: “this achievement not only demonstrates our high level of ground service at our facility but also our commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards for our customers and employees.”

Established in 2014, Cat Air Service AG is a joint venture between Swiss companies, Air Service Basel GmbH and Cat Aviation AG. It provides full ground handling and is the only FBO to have an airside lounge at Zurich Airport. The facility features restaurant service, snooze room, shower room and meeting facilities, providing passengers and crew with a unique and unrivalled experience.
