Lauda, Austria’s leading low-fare airline, has introduced direct flights from Liverpool to Vienna. The new service offers two weekly connections between the two cities and will be operated on an Airbus A320.
“We are delighted to add another new carrier to Liverpool, serving the North West and North Wales market,” said Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s director of aviation development, Paul Winfield.
“We are also delighted to welcome a new exciting destination from Liverpool, allowing passengers to travel from the North West’s faster, easier, friendlier airport,” he added.
The new route has come just in time for passengers travelling from Liverpool to make the most of Vienna’s famous Christmas markets.
Commenting on the new service, Lauda’s CEO, Andreas Gruber, said: “We are delighted to offer our passengers a new non-stop service from Liverpool to my hometown Vienna and expand our route network. Lauda allows passengers to explore the most livable city in the world for an unbeatable price.”
