Southwest Florida International Airport, Fort Myers, Florida is to see three seasonal domestic destinations with Sun Country Airlines.

Sun Country Airlines will begin a twice weekly service to Madison in Wisconsin on 28 September, and twice weekly services to both Dallas/Fort Worth in Texas and St Louis in Missouri, on 3 October.

The new nonstop routes are part of the airline’s network expansion and in total Sun Country Airlines will be adding 11 new routes to its network, including the three new direct routes, bringing the airline’s total nonstop service to 64 routes.

“We’re excited to grow our network, and to bring Sun Country’s affordable airfare and great customer service to new cities,” said Jude Bricker, president and CEO of Sun Country Airlines. “We have a lot of runway at Sun Country and the growth will help us build a healthy company for our employees and our community.”

St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge said the airport is “thrilled” to be part of the airline’s launch for scheduled nonstop services to and from St. Louis, adding: “The addition of Sun Country gives our travellers even more options to two popular Florida destinations.”
