Aviation services provider Sky Valet has opened its latest FBO facility in the business aviation terminal at Ibiza Airport in Spain. It brings the total number of destinations across Sky Valet’s network in France, Spain and Portugal to 22.

The new state-of-the art facility comes after the airport’s business terminal underwent a complete refurbishment process following the announcement in May 2017 that Sky Valet had been awarded the tender to manage the terminal for a five year period.

“Ibiza is an increasingly attractive destination for VIP passengers, who come here seeking another business travel experience,” said Edouard Cubero, manager of the Sky Valet FBO in Ibiza.

The business aviation sector has grown significantly over the past few years in Spain and Sky Valet FBO’s arrival in Ibiza (its ninth in Spain) brings both a strong brand to the Spanish resort island as well as an extensive European network to the airport.

Commenting on how the new FBO facility must meet the high standards expected across Sky Valet’s network, Cubero added: “We must also amaze our passengers by means of special attention, whilst managing a significant passenger flow volume. In this sense, being part of the Sky Valet network represents a unique and differentiating support.”

Meanwhile, Michel Tohane, executive VP of Sky Valet stated: “The success of this project is strategic for Sky Valet and responds to the request of both private and business aircraft operators to offer an experience that meets the high expectations of their VIP customers”.
