Customers flying to London Biggin Hill will benefit from a competitive new pricing structure at the business aviation hub, which is due to take effect from 1 April 2019.

Landing, handling and parking fees will become streamlined under the new system, providing customers with greater transparency while simplifying the payment process. Other benefits will include the removal of charges during airport shoulder hours, while charter brokers and operators will enjoy a cost reduction for short turnarounds.

“As the only dedicated business aviation airport in London, it is vital that we continue to find new ways to support the uninterrupted flow of international business investment into the capital,” said Robert Walters, business development director, London Biggin Hill.

Coupled with the airport’s Heli Shuttle service offering six-minute transfers to the heart of the city, extended operating hours, which have “demonstrably benefitted travellers from the US, Asia Pacific and the Middle East,” and the growth of the airport’s resident MROs to 11 service centres, which means Biggin Hill can “support almost every make and model of business jet,” Walters underlined that the new pricing structure is a major step in improving access to the UK capital.

“Now, our simplified fees will ensure more customers can profit from our quick transfer service, prime location and extensive capabilities,” he concluded.
