Global aviation logistics specialist, Menzies Aviation, has renewed ground handling contract with Latin American airline group LATAM for another three years.

The agreement will see four Colombian airports – El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro, Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Palmira and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport in Barranquilla – benefit from Menzies’ ground handling services. The four airports represent 40,000 turns per annum.

“LATAM is the dominant player in the South American market and a valued customer of Menzies,” said Giles Wilson, CEO, Menzies Aviation. “LATAM’s decision to renew their contract after nine years goes to show what a great job our team do day in and day out, ensuring we deliver a safe and secure service with aircrafts departing on time. I look forward to continuing our relationship with LATAM in Colombia.”
