Ljubljana gains link with Liverpool John Lennon

Adria Airways, the Slovenian carrier will start a twice weekly service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) to the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, commencing summer 2020.

Operating on Saturdays and Wednesdays the flights from 20 May to 24 October, Adria will use an 86 seat CRJ900 aircraft to serve the link. “We are delighted to welcome our latest carrier, Adria Airways to Liverpool,” said Paul Winfield, director of aviation development for LJLA. “Adria will continue to serve the North West market, with an enhanced product, from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.”

The airline is the fourth new airline to announce operations from Liverpool and will offer the North of England’s only direct service to the Slovenian capital, complementing the growing range of destinations from LJLA, now served by nine airlines.
