Aurigny, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, has launched its new link from Guernsey in the Channel Islands to Southampton. The route will be served twice daily mid-week between the two destinations with a daily service on the weekends.

“By launching this route, we aim to offer our customer choice with fantastic fares from £59.98 return,” said Aurigny’s CEO, Mark Darby. “Aurigny also offers 15% discount for kids of 15 and under,” he added.

Aurigny hopes the service will be as popular with locals in the Channel Islands as it will be to those travelling to the island from Southampton.

Speaking at the launch of the new service, Neil Garwood, managing director at Southampton Airport, said: “The new Guernsey route with Aurigny reinforces our position as the very best gateway to the Channel Islands. We look forward to further nurturing our excellent relationship with Aurigny and will continue to work with the airline to offer the best customer experience to our passengers.”
