Editor’s comment: Spotlight on the passenger

By March 21, 2019 January 16th, 2020 News

Regional Gateway editor Chloë Greenbank summarises the latest happenings across airports serving business, regional and low-fare routes.

With representatives from airports and airlines converging in London next week for the Passenger Terminal Expo and Conference (PTE), I’m looking forward to hitting the show floor at the Excel centre (where the event is being hosted) and exploring the latest innovations and solutions to enhance efficiency, safety and the passenger experience within the airport environment.

The show marks the first in a line-up of airport-related events that we will be attending in the coming months, so make sure you check our events calendar to find out where you can catch up with the Regional Gateway team.

And, if you’re attending PTE, do drop by our booth (#9032) to pick up the latest issue of Regional Gateway magazine. It’s packed with fascinating articles on baggage handling solutions, regional retail opportunities, airport privatisation, the biometric boom, FBOs soaring into 2019 and an exclusive interview with Vernice Walkine, the CEO of Nassau Airport Development Company. Plus there’s also insights from Valour Consultancy’s John Devlin and RABA’s chairman and CEO of Nieuport Aviation, Neil Pakey.
