Budapest Airport will gain another link to the UK next winter with a new service from Jet2.com to Birmingham, commencing 8 November 2019.
The service to Birmingham will operate twice-weekly on Mondays and Fridays using the airline’s 189-seat Boeing 737-800s.

We especially look forward to welcoming guests from the UK Midlands catchment area to experience our excellent winter festivities, including the unique spa facilities, great variety of bars and restaurants, and of course the recently awarded best Christmas market in Europe.”
The new route itself will contribute 17,000 more seats to the market between Budapest and the UK in W19/20.
With the airline’s additional commitment to increase winter flights on its existing four routes for W19/20, Jet2.com will offer over 30% more capacity from Budapest next winter, with 110,000 seats to go on sale.
Over 406,000 people flew between Budapest and non-London airports in the UK during the period from January to September, up 11.7% versus the same months of 2017.
