tWOW air has signed a three-year component support agreement with Lufthansa Technik for its new fleet of three Trent 700-powered Airbus A330 aircraft.The Total Component Support (TCS) contract commenced on 1 August 2016 and covers the overhaul of line replaceable units (LRU), pooling and home base lease.
Component supply will be realised via the Lufthansa Technik facilities in Frankfurt and Hamburg as well as through the US-based Lufthansa Technik warehouses.
“This agreement will provide WOW air with the support needed while launching our US/Europe A330 wide-body network by minimising technical delays and optimising dispatch reliability,” stated Aegir Thorberg Jonsson, WOW Air’s director of technical operations.
