Wizz Air has taken delivery of its 100th A320 family aircraft, an A321ceo, as the low-fare carrier continues its fleet expansion.

The aircraft, in commemorative livery, is powered by IAE engines and has a 230-seat configuration. It also includes ‘Smart Lavs,’ an optimised lavatory design providing extra cabin length for more seats and improved seat recline. The central and east European carrier started operating Airbus aircraft 14 years ago and will take delivery of 268 additional A320 family aircraft over the coming years.

Eric Schulz, Airbus chief commercial officer, said Wizz had become “a true success story, and we are proud to have played a major role in this journey.”
