From 26 March 2017, Wizz Air, will begin operating twice-weekly flights between its Bucharest base and Lamezia Terme in the south of on Thursdays and Sundays.
Tamara Vallois, Wizz Air’s head of communications, commented, “We are thrilled to be bringing more positive news for our Bucharest customers and announcing our 45th route from the capital. The new route to Lamezia Terme and the beautiful coast of South Italy is another sunny destination available on Wizz’s low fares. Today’s announcement once again underlines our commitment to Romania as the largest airline and we stay focused on expanding our ever-growing network with more attractive services to best meet the needs of our Romanian customers.”
Wizz Air aims to grow its fleet in Romania to 20 aircraft by the end of 2016, including four new 230-seat Airbus A321s.
