Wizz Air has announced that it will open a base in Riga with one new Airbus A320 on 19 June 2014 and add four new routes.
The new destinations will be Barcelona, Doncaster Sheffield, Dortmund and Paris Beauvais, while services to London Luton and Oslo Torp will gain extra frequencies.
Paris Beauvais flights will launch first on 19 June an operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Doncaster Sheffield (Mondays and Fridays) and Dortmund (Wednesdays and Sundays) will both begin on 20 June and Barcelona (Wednesdays and Sundays) will follow on 22 June.
Flights to Oslo Torp will increase from 2 to 3 a week while the frequency to London Luton will go up from 7 to 8 a week.
