Wizz Air has confirmed plans to open its base in Kosice on 3 June, three months earlier than originally planned, in response to customer demand.
“Wizz Air is pleased to announce an earlier opening date of its Kosice base,” remarked Wizz Air’s Daniel de Carvalho. “With our two new routes to Milan Bergamo and Doncaster Sheffield being served three months earlier than initially planned, our customers can now book this year’s summer holiday on Wizz’s Kosice routes.”
The Kosice–Milan Bergamo service will take place on Mondays and Fridays from 5 June, whilst the Kosice–Doncaster Sheffield route will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays from 7 June.
The airline is also increasing flights on its London Luton service, which will now operate ten times weekly.
