From 25 April, Wizz Air, will add Stavanger in Norway to the destinations it will fly from Katowice airport.
The new Katowice–Stavanger service will operate initially twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, taking to 20 the number of major European cities served from Katowice. By adding this route, Wizz Air becomes the biggest operator between Poland and Norway, flying 34 weekly frequencies connecting the two countries.
“Wizz Air is committed to growing its route network in Poland and is pleased to offer an increase in services offered from Katowice airport. Adding the Stavanger route opens a gate to one of the most important industrial hubs of Norway from the Katowice/Krakow area,” remarked John Stephenson, executive vice-president of Wizz Air.
