WestJet has announced the resumption of its non-stop seasonal service between Toronto and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on 6 March, nearly two months earlier than in 2013.
The twice-weekly service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays from 6 March to 23 October, with a change in flight times effective 27 April.
“We're very pleased to return with non-stop service to one of Canada’s favourite vacation and snowbird destinations,” remarked Chris Avery, WestJet vice-president, network planning, alliances and corporate development.
From 6 March, flights on Thursdays will leave Toronto at 18:45 and reach Myrtle Beach at 20:50, with the return taking off from Myrtle Beach at 21:35, landing back in Toronto at 23:30. Sunday flights push back from Toronto at 15:15 and get to Myrtle Beach at 17:20. In the opposite direction takeoff from Myrtle Beach will be at 18:10 and reach Toronto at 20:05.
Then from 27 April, Thursday flights depart Toronto at 09:35 and land in Myrtle Beach at 11:38. The return will leave Myrtle Beach at 12:25 and touchdown in Toronto at 14:27. On Sundays, flights will leave Toronto at 21:35 and land in Myrtle Beach at 23:38. From Myrtle Beach, flights will take off at 12:25 and arrive in Toronto at 14:27.
