WestJet is to launch new daily, nonstop service between Toronto and Phoenix beginning on 26 October 2014.
“We are always looking for new and better ways to provide Canadians with in-demand destination choices,” remarked Chris Avery, WestJet’s vice-president, network planning, alliances and corporate development. “After this winter of record storms and low temperatures, more Canadians than ever are looking for non-stop routes to sunny US destinations like Phoenix to meet the demand for sunshine and [golf] tee times.”
Flights will depart Toronto at 09:45, reaching Phoenix at 11:35. The return flight will take off from Phoenix at 12:20 and land back in Toronto at 19:27.
“We continue to bring low fares to more and more markets,” said Paul Harvalias, WestJet's vice-president, revenue. “Our introductory pricing combined with our remarkable guest experience invites the whole family to take advantage of WestJet’s newest non-stop route Toronto–Phoenix route.”
