Under a new five-year agreement, Delta TechOps will provide exclusive component maintenance-per-flight-hour support for WestJet’s four new Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
The agreement will cover various aircraft component services for hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, fuel and oil systems on the aircraft. Delta TechOps will also provide integrated inventory support and main base kit coverage.
“The men and women of Delta TechOps pride themselves on delivering industry-leading performance, value and turnaround times,” commented Jack Arehart, president of MRO Services at Delta TechOps.
“From our vast experience operating and supporting the world’s largest Boeing 767 fleet, to our extensive inventory exchange programme that ensures aircraft components are repaired without interrupting the aircraft operating schedule, we look forward to the opportunity to exceed WestJet’s expectations now and in the future.”
WestJet has been part of a codeshare agreement with Delta since 2011.
