Vueling is to bring back its direct Edinburgh-Barcelona route from 23 June with thrice-weekly flights complementing Vueling’s expanding UK–Spain route network.
Existing Vueling services between the two countries include flights from London Heathrow to Bilbao, Galicia, La Coruna and Vigo and the airline’s new routes for summer 2012 from Cardiff to Barcelona, Mallorca and Alicante and from Southampton to Barcelona.
“We are delighted to see the return of Scotland to Vueling’s route network,” remarked CEO Alex Cruz. “Barcelona and Edinburgh have strong links and we are confident our flights will be appreciated by business and leisure travellers alike as well as all the destinations available through our connecting flights.”
