Vueling has reported that it carried 908,854 passengers in April, up 86.4% year-on-year, though partly achieved by the airline’s merger with clickair in July 2009.
Revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) generated totalled 816,126,000, 63.3% more than the 499,787,000 in April 2009. Available seat kilometres (ASKs) were up 67.9% at 1,113,429,000 from last April’s 663,191,000.
The load factor for April 2010 was 73.3%, a fall of 2.1 percentage points from the April 2009 figure of 75.4%.
The airline notes that the lower load factor in April from the previous year was influenced by an earlier Easter break this year.
