Vueling is continuing its efforts to appeal to business travellers with the launch of Vueling Pass, a card which offers “many VIP services to ensure passengers travel in maximum comfort”.
The launch of the Vueling Pass has been made possible by a collaboration agreement with Gestió i Serveis Trade Center, the property management company responsible for the Barcelona World Trade Centre and the Centre for Business and Lounges at Barcelona Airport.
The main features of Vueling Pass include access to VIP lounges at 10 European airports – Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Malaga, Amsterdam, Palma de Mallorca, Brussels, Rome, Lisbon and Milan. Each pass offers up to 10 visits to the lounges per year with the ability to purchase additional visits if required.
For an annual fee of €250, cardholders can enjoy preferential boarding on all flights with Vueling; fast track services (initially at Amsterdam with other airports to follow); and the opportunity for PUNTO programme holders to earn 500 bonus points during the launch period with the potential to accumulate more points with additional purchases. PUNTO programme holders may also take advantage of a 30% discount on VIP parking at Barcelona and Madrid Airports or benefit from a 10% discount on rooms and offices at Barcelona Airport.
Additionally, Vueling has introuced new ergonomic headrests to its DUO seats. The new headrest will enable passengers who purchase a DUO ticket to enjoy a more comfortable trip. The DÚO product was launched last year in response to the needs of business travellers offering preferential boarding, a double seat in the first row at all times, a guaranteed space for hand luggage and a snack and drink on board.
With the launch of Vueling Pass and the introduction of the new DUO headrest, the company has extended its range of services for the business passenger sector, which now accounts for over 40% of its customers.
