Volaris has announced its preliminary traffic results for July 2015.
During July 2015, revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for scheduled and charter services totalled 1,240 million compared with 1,057 million in July 2014, an increase of 17.3%. Available seat miles (ASMs), also for scheduled and charter flights, rose by 17.4% to 1,417 million from 1,207 million.
The total number of scheduled and charter passengers carried in July was 1,271 million compared with 1,054 million last July, an increase of 20.6%.
The airline only announced its load factor for scheduled services, which was 87.4%, down 0.1 percentage point from July 2014’s figure.
During July 2015, Volaris started to operate one seasonal domestic route (Acapulco–Toluca) and two year-round international routes (Cancun–San Juan, Puerto Rico and Guadalajara–New York JFK).
