Volaris publishes September 2015 traffic figures

Volaris has announced its preliminary traffic results for September 2015, reporting that the number of scheduled and charter passengers carried increased by 35.4% year-over-year from 659 thousand to 892 thousand.However, after available seat miles rose by 33.6% from 809 million in September 2014 to 1,081 million for September this year against a 32% growth in revenue passenger miles from 637 million to 842 million, there was a small drop in the scheduled service load factor. It came in at 77.9% for September 2015, down 0.9 percentage points down from 78.8% for the same period the previous year.During September 2015, Volaris launched two year-round international routes between Cancun and San Jose (Costa Rica) and between Guadalajara and San Jose (Costa Rica).
