Volaris has reported its preliminary traffic results for July 2014.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) rose by 7.7% to 1,057 million from 981 million last July. Available seat miles, however, were increased by 13.6% to 1,207 million from July 2013’s figure of 1,063 million.
These figures led to a load factor decrease of 4.9 percentage points to 87.5% from 92.4% in the same month last year. Meanwhile, the rounded figured for passengers carried in July totalled 1,054,000, compared with 975,000 last July, which was an 8.1% increase.
