Volaris is to begin a new international service between Durango and Chicago Midway Airport on 8 December with twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
"Our commitment continues to be towards greater connectivity for the state of Durango at the lowest possible fares," explained Holger Blankenstein, Volaris’s commercial director. "In fact, this past 15 May, we inaugurated Durango as a new Volaris station, and at the time, we unveiled service connecting Durango and Mexico City. Now, we are excited to launch the first international operation from this important city in Mexico."
The flight schedule plans for departure from Durango at 07:04, arriving at Chicago Midway at 10:45. The return flight will leave the Windy City at 12:05 and reach Durango at 16:22 (all times local).
