Volaris has launched a new international route connecting the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, with Ontario, California, with operations beginning in April 2014.
At the same time, Ontario is Volaris's 13th city in the USA and seventh destination in California. With this route, Volaris now 11 international and 18 domestic destinations from Guadalajara.
Enrique Beltranena, Volaris's CEO, remarked that flying to Ontario is an important step to continue supporting the market for people visiting friends and relatives between Mexico and the United States of America. "This market is the largest of its kind in the world. For this reason we are committed to fulfilling the connectivity needs that it requires, offering economical flights that allow us to compete with the bus market, while promoting cultural, economic and commercial exchange with the United States of America.”
