Volaris has published its preliminary traffic results for February 2015, including a 15.4% increase in the number of passengers carried during the month.
Volaris's revenue passenger miles (RPMs) increased 8.3% year over year, reaching 687 million compared with 635 million in February 2014. Available seat miles (ASMs) for February 2015 were increased by 10.6% to 877 million from 793 million last February.
The load factor thus decreased by 1.6 percentage points to 78.4% from February 2014’s fiure of 80.0%. As noted, the rounded number of passengers carried during the month rose by 15.4% to 721,000 from 625,000.
