Virgin America’s November load factor reaches 80.2%

Virgin America has increased its load factor by 1.5 percentage points from 78.7% in November 2014 to 80.2% during November 2015.
Available seat miles have increased by 10.2% from 1,001,984,000 to 1,104,173,000 across the same respective periods while revenue passenger miles have grown by 12.3% from 788,704,000 to 885,777,000.
Passenger numbers have grown by 15.7% year-over-year from 522,000 to 603,000.
For the year-to-date, passenger numbers have increased by 8% year-over-year from 5,933,000 to 6,407,000. Available seat miles have grown by 3.2% from 11,186,456,000 for the eleven months to November 2014 to 11,538,906,000 for the eleven months to November 2015 and revenue passenger miles have risen by 3.3% from 9,201,791,000 to 9,507,224,000.
During these respective periods Virgin America’s load factor has only increased by 0.1 percentage points from 82.3% to 82.4%.
