Virgin America has been named "Best US Airline" in the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards for the seventh consecutive year.
More than 76,000 readers of the travel magazine participated in the annual survey, casting more than one million votes. Virgin America landed in the number one spot, which it has done every year since its launch in 2007.
"This latest award from Conde Nast Traveler readers is the culmination of what has been a landmark year for Virgin America as we have continued to shake up the status quo in the US airline industry," commented Virgin America president and CEO David Cush. "This is one of the highest industry honours and we are fortunate to receive this distinction for the seventh straight year. This award sweep is a credit to our talented teammates, both on the front-line and behind-the-scenes, who have redefined air travel in this country."
