Thai Vietjet, which will initially operate domestic flights in Thailand and then expand its flight network to connect Thailand and other regional destinations, has celebrated receiving its Aircraft Operator Certificate (AOC).
“Thai Vietjet was born out of a desire to offer more wonderful flying experiences at the best fares ever,” stated Nguyen Thanh Hung, chairman of the management board of Thai Vietjet. “With a modern fleet of brand new aircraft, our professional and friendly flight crew as well as our innovative and creative inflight activities, I believe Thai Vietjet will soon become one of the most popular airlines in Thailand and across the region. We vow to earn this popularity by showing our utmost respect and care for our valued customers.”
The celebration was attended by Vietnam’s Prime Minister, H.E Nguyen Tan Dung and Kobkarn Suritasat Wattanarangkul, minister of tourism and sport for Thailand, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Department of Civil Aviation of Thailand. Leaders in both countries hope the new joint venture with Vietjet Air will bilateral diplomatic and commercial relations between Vietnam and Thailand.
