V Air, which is set to launch services from Taipei to Bangkok on 17 December and Taipei to Chiang Mai on 7 January 2015, is allowing the public to set the introductory through a new campaign on the airline’s website.
The purpose of V Air’s new campaign is to ‘rise up the V Bear’, the airline’s mascot.
The first 10,000 tickets on the new routes could drop as low as 520 Taiwan dollars (TWD), with the fare falling by between TWD 100 and 200 with every 20,000 people who join in the campaign (that lowest price means over 200,000 would have to participate. The starting fare began at TWD 1,988.
The new services from Taipei are still subject to final approvals from the Thai government.
