V Air has launched its first Taipei–Manila route with a maiden flight to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport which had a load factor of more than 80%.
“We at V Air are delighted to witness the ninth scheduled service from the Taipei–Manila route. As the first Taiwanese low-cost airline to tap the ever-growing Philippine market, we are looking forward to be the preferred airline of the traveling Filipino on a budget. Our operations in Manila will be significant in securing a strong foothold in the region,” remarked V Air chief commercial officer Bernard Hsu.
The new service, the carrier’s third route in Asia, will operate four flights weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with a flight time of around two-hours.
