United Airlines (UAL) has announced July 2015 operational results for the subsidiaries and partners operating under the United Express brand.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 2,250,812,000, compared with 2,485,522,000 last July, a drop of 9.4%. Available seat miles (ASMs), however, were cut by 9.9% to 2,635,612,000 from 2,926,121,000.
The passenger load factor therefore rose by 0.5 percentage points to 85.4% from last July’s 84.9%. The rounded number of passengers carried in July 2015 was 3,993,000, which was 8.0% fewer than the 4,342,000 carried in July 2014.
