United Airlines has reported July 2016 operational results for its regional airline services operated under the United Express banner by partner carriers and by United’s wholly owned subsidiaries.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 2,187,434,000, compared with 2,250,812,000 in July 2015, a decrease of 2.8%. Available seat miles (ASMs), however, were cut by 4.2% to 2,525,271,000 from 2,635,612,000 for the respective months.
These figures led to a 1.2 percentage point increase in the load factor to 86.6% in July 2016 from 85.4% last July. The approximate number of passengers carried was 3,818,000, a drop of 4.4% from the 3,993,000 carried in the same month last year.
