easyJet has announced two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA), with services to Nantes and Newquay starting in summer 2013.
Newquay becomes easyJet’s fourth domestic route from Liverpool, alongside Belfast, the Isle of Man and Jersey, while Nantes becomes the airline’s fifth French destination from the airport.
Flights to Newquay will begin on 4 July 2013, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Flights to Nantes will start on 5 July 2013 operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s commercial manager commented, “We are thrilled to be announcing new routes for Liverpool Airport and have carefully selected destinations to complement the wide range of cities we already serve from the airport.
“The news demonstrates easyJet’s continued commitment to Liverpool as one our largest airport bases in the UK and a key gateway to the north of England. Our new services to Nantes and Newquay should prove popular with UK holidaymakers and business travellers looking for an easy and affordable way to reach Western France or Cornwall.”
