Citilink, the low-fare subsidiary of the Garuda Indonesia Group, has selected Turkish Technic to provide component support for its Airbus A320s.
“We thank Citilink for choosing Turkish Technic for their component support services. This is a bold step we have achieved in 2015 after a succession of pool contracts in 2014, and we keep broadening our component pooling in South East Asia,” remarked Ahmet Karaman, Turkish Technic’s CEO. “We have reached a fleet size of more than 500 aircraft in the component pool market.”
Turkish Technic will provide component supply and repair to Citilink on part number basis. Components will be supplied from the company’s main bases in Istanbul and Jakarta, as well as other pooling stations in the Middle East. Repair work of components will also be conducted in Istanbul.
The contract also cements Turkish Technic’s business development with GMF Aero Asia – one of the largest aircraft maintenance facilities in Asia – which will act as a vendor and provide capability development to support the Citilink–Turkish Technic contract.
