A new maintenance contract will see Lufthansa Technik providing Tigerair Taiwan with line-replaceable unit (LRU) services for the Auxiliary Power Units (APU) of the carrier’s growing Airbus A320 fleet.
The long-term contract covers maintenance for Tigerair Taiwan’s APUs, the overhaul of APU components and the pooling supply of APU components via Lufthansa Technik's warehouse in Singapore.
Kwan Yue, CEO, Tigerair Taiwan, explained, “As we expand our fleet, our priority is to ensure that our fleet is reliable and we are able to dispatch our aircraft to the high standards expected of our customers. We are pleased with our partnership with Lufthansa Technik. We are confident that with this partnership, our fleet will be well supported as we continue to grow our fleet and network.”
