Tigerair Australia has begun its new daily return services between Brisbane and Darwin, providing over 2,500 additional visitor seats weekly through Darwin Airport.
Tigerair Australia CEO Rob Sharp commented, “Darwin represents a gateway to the quintessential Northern Territory outback that thousands of budget, leisure and adventure travellers have on their personal bucket lists to go and experience. We’re a volume business and our network evolves based on demand for our services.
“In responding to this consumer demand it makes commercial sense to connect Brisbane, the heart of Queensland, with the top end and provide a cost effective means of getting quickly between the two. This news also provides fantastic low fare options for Darwin residents wanting to travel to Queensland’s capital city,” added Sharp.
Flights depart Brisbane daily at 20:45 and arrive Darwin at 00:25 the next day. The return flights leaves Darwin at 01:15 and arrives in Brisbane at 05:25.
