Tigerair selects Abacus to help boost retail sales

Tigerair fares and ancillary products are to become available on Abacus through an agreement that gives the carrier a platform to compete for travel agent bookings from within the largest portfolio of low-fare and hybrid airlines in the Asia-Pacific.

The integration makes the full range of competitive fares of the Tigerair Group of airlines including Tigerair Singapore and Tigerair Mandala available at more than 20,000 Abacus agency locations in 31 regional feeder markets, which should generate significant incremental corporate and leisure business from the channel.
