As part of a new two-year contract, SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC) will provide Tigerair Australia with heavy maintenance services for its Airbus A320-200 fleet commencing from May 2016.The maintenance services on Tigerair Australia’s fleet of 14 A320-200 aircraft – serving 11 destinations within Australia – will be undertaken by SIAEC and its joint venture company, SIA Engineering (Philippines) Corporation, at their facilities in Singapore and Clark, Philippines respectively.Rob Sharp, Tigerair Australia’s CEO, stated, “We look forward to working closely with SIAEC over the next two years as we continue to strengthen the operational performance of the airline as part of our long term business strategy. SIAEC has vast experience in the heavy maintenance environment and provide the highest standards with precision and efficiency.
