Tigerair Australia’s website now offers passengers the option of purchasing the combination of an airfare, an upfront or standard seat and queue jump boarding, with a discounted rate on what they would pay for items separately of about 10%.
“We provide consistently great value fares for travel between 12 fantastic destinations and allow our passengers to decide what optional extras they wish to pay for. If you don’t want checked luggage there’s no reason you should have to pay for it,” articulated Adam Rowe, Tigerair Australia’s commercial director. “The express fare combination of these popular products is based on customer feedback and today’s launch is aimed at further enhancing the airline’s service whilst giving customers more of that they want for less.”
The airline has also recently launched a number of other enhanced new services. These include a new website, mobile app, Tiger Bites onboard menu, queue jump, self-serve kiosks with automatic baggage drop facilities in Melbourne and Brisbane, and extended use of personal electronic devices in flight.
