Tiger Airways Australia has released a statement declaring its commitment to working with the industry regulator and other authorities to resolve the issues which caused its grounding.
The airline says solving the issues is “something we are confident we can do in the coming days and weeks. We are optimistic of returning to normal services while reassuring the public, staff and stakeholders of our long term commitment to Australia”. The airline adds that it is well positioned to meet these goals.
Tiger Airways Australia is currently talking directly to all staff to reassure them on the airline’s long term future. Externally, emails are being sent to all affected passengers who have booked to fly until 31 July 2011, to notify them of their cancelled flight and confirm that the airline will refund them back to the original form of payment as soon as possible.
