STG Aerospace has delivered its 8,000th SafTGlo aircraft kit as part of a major order from Southwest Airlines.
The deal involves the retrofitting of SafTGlo ColorMatch to the airline’s fleet during its normal maintenance schedule over the next few years.
Richard Moore, chief executive of STG Aerospace, remarked, “Reaching 8,000 sales of SafTGlo is an incredible milestone for STG. The installation comes as part of the largest ever single order of SafTGlo. This milestone reinforces the message that we are the leading provider of PL technology on commercial aircraft and that operators recognise the cost-saving benefits of STG’s products.”
