StandardAero has celebrated the recent completion of its 2,500th workscope on the GE Aviation CF34 turbofan engine.

The MRO company was first appointed as an authorised service provider (ASP) for the CF34-3 and CF34-8 in 2001.

“The completion of our 2,500th CF34 workscope is a true milestone for one of StandardAero’s most important programmes,” said Oliver Albig, vice-president and general manager for the CF34/CFM56 programme. “We are proud of our long-term partnership with GE Aviation, and grateful to our global base of CF34 customers for entrusting us with their MRO needs. Our team is committed to constantly raising the standard, and we look forward to providing responsive, quality support to CF34 operators for years to come.”

StandardAero provides a full range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the CF34 family from its Winnipeg facility in Canada. In 2013 it was appointed by GE as the first independent TRUEngine authorised MRO provider for the CF34.
