From 7 January 2016, Spirit Airlines will begin a daily nonstop service between Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Orlando International Airport.
“Spirit customers love saving money on air travel and these routes offer the perfect escape from winter,” commented Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines' vice-president of network planning. “Spirit's friendly service combined with our low Bare Fares with Frill Control makes that dream Florida vacation more affordable than ever before.”
From 8 January 2016, the carrier is also adding a third daily nonstop flight between BWI and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, bringing the number of routes from BWI to ten.
“Spirit continues to grow here at BWI Marshall, which means more ultra-low fares and more travel options for our customers,” averred Ricky Smith, BWI’s CEO. “We welcome the added service from Spirit.”
