From Spring 2015, Spirit will begin operating ten new routes from Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Daily flights will be introduced from Houston to Tampa, Baltimore/Washington DC and Oakland/San Francisco Bay. New Mexican destinations, Cancun, Los Cabos and Toluca/Mexico City are being introduced for the summer season only, with flights increasing in frequency between May and June.
Finally, Central American flights will operate from Houston to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador either three or four times weekly.
“We're excited to offer our customers in Houston the opportunity to fly to and from these great destinations without having to spend a tonne of money getting there,” declared Ben Baldanza, president and CEO of Spirit Airlines.
The new routes between Houston and Mexico are still subject to governmental approval.
