Western Australia’s Skywest Airlines has announced its network operating statistics for March 2012.
For its Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) operations, Skywest‘s revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) increased by 1.07% to 18,809,000 from 18,609,000. RPT available seat kilometres totalled 36,626,000, up by 13.80% from last March’s 32,184,000.
These figures created a load factor in March of 51.35%, which was 6.47% down on March 2011’s figure of 57.82%. During March the RPT passengers carried fell by 11.31% to 24,000 from 27,000.
On its charter side, Skywest’s ASKs increased by 26.62% to 83,021 from 65,565 for the respective months.
The carrier notes that these statistics contain a reclassification of a route from charter to RPT (Bali) which results in changes in the comparatives.
