Western Australia-based Skywest has announced its network operating statistics for August 2010, with growth in RPKs, ASKs, passenger numbers and load factor.
Revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) totalled 27,831,000, up 7.79% from August 2009’s 25,819,000. Available seat kilometres (ASKs) increased by 4.76% to 47,593,000 from 45,429,000.
The load factor for the month was 58.48%, and increase of 1.65 percentage points over last August’s figure of56.83%. Skywest’s regular passenger transport (RPT) numbers increased by 8.45% to around 34,000 from approximately 31,000 in August last year.
