Skywest has announced its network operating statistics for the month of December 2011 with the load factor for Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) traffic dropping by 1.76 percentage points.
The rounded figure for RPT passengers carried during the month was 20,000, down 17.32% from 24,000 in December 2010. RPT revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs) numbered 15,177,000, a fall of 17.35% from December 2010’s figure of 18,364,000. RPT available seat kilometres (ASKs) in December 2011 were cut by 14.35% to 31,404,000 from 36,665,000.
The RPT load factor thus fell by 1.76 pp to 48.33% from 50.09%.
